English Championship leaders Sunderland have officially announced the signing of Enzo Le Fee from Roma on loan until the end of the season.

Le Fee only moved to Roma last summer but has struggled to make an appearance, with Real Betis reportedly interested before pulling out of talks and it was Sunderland who finally reached an agreement.
Sunderland have agree a loan deal with Roma with an obligation to buy for €23m if the club are promote to the Premier League next season.

“I’m very happy to be here and I’m excited to meet the people. There are some familiar faces with Wilson Isidor, Adil Aouchiche and Salis Abdul Samed,” Le Fee told the club website.
The Championship side have the option to buy the former France Under-21 player, who was a member of his country’s squad at the delayed 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
He has played just six times in Serie A for Roma this season as well as making four further appearances in the Uefa Europa League.
The Black Cats are currently third in the Championship table, but are just one point behind leaders Leeds United.
Le Fee move to Sunderland will see him link up with Rechis Le Yries, the Black Cats manager who previously worked with him at Lorient in Ligue 1.
