He helped the team rise to third place in Serie A, joining Juventus, just four points behind leaders AC Milan.
“We have ambitions to qualify for the Champions League,” Arthur said.
“The important thing is to be consistent. And we have to face every game with a must-win mentality. It was a very strong start. But there is still a long way to go. Every match can be decided.”
The 27-year-old joined Fiorentina on loan for €4 million, with an option to make the move permanent for another €20 million.
It is still a far cry from his €80.6m valuation when he moved from Barca to Juve.
“I want to return to the Brazilian national team. And I know I can do that. I have to impress Fiorentina. I was able to adapt quickly because I already know Serie A. But above all thanks to my team-mates who helped me from day one.’
“I get along well with the coach. And that is a very important factor.”
“Last season was very difficult. An injury prevented me from playing at Liverpool. Now I feel good physically. I get along with my teammates. And I like our style of play.”
